The Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy for Senator Movement has officially kicked off in Cebu in addition to 12 other locations nationwide. Members of his church KOJC, political allies and supporters gathered in an afternoon of fun and enlightenment as speakers presented Pastor Quiboloy’s agenda for running in the Senate.
His lawyer Atty. Israelito Torreon said that his principal has no plans of running for office. However, as they witnessed extreme politcial persecution and the rampant corruption that the country is experiencing and how abuses in power has been the theme of the current government, he offered himself as an alternative candidate to push for pro-God, pro-country and pro people programs.
The event showcased Pastor Quiboloy and the church’s massive projects and outreach for children, for the environment and for the Filipinos.
PACQ supporters gleefully cheered on the thought that their beloved Pastor will embark on a new endeavor which is a legislative position to strengthen governance and minimize abuse and corruption. Over the years KOJC, Swara Sug Media, SMNI and other affiliate companies served the Filipino people and other territories outside of the Philippines.
The kick-off also welcomed other partylist allies of the movement, Maisug candidates, PDP Laban senatoriables and Cebu’s gubernatorial candidate Pamela Baricuatro.
Baricuatro said she was one with Pastor Quiboloy in his quest against corruption and abuse of power that when she is elected into office, there will be no ‘SOP’ on her watch.
In an emotional video message to his followers and supporters, the beleaguered pastor assured them that he will be reunited with them soon, when all these persecutions settle down and the country’s political turmoil dies down. This assurance melted everone’s hearts and gave hope to his flock.
Pastor Quiboloy is number 53 in the ballots.
